Arguably Norway's biggest and best equipped resort. Skiing for all standards with everything close at hand. Great skiing for all ages.
Trysil ski resort is situated in the middle of Scandinavia. Nevertheless it is remarkably easy to get to.
Trysil is very popular among Danes, Swedes, Finns, Germans, Dutch and British, not to mention the Norwegians themselves. Perhaps this is why the social environment is so unique. Yes, Trysil is for those who want good skiing facilities, excitement, and that little something extra. International yet very Norwegian.
One ski resort and one mountain - but lots of action and never overcrowded. Common to all our guests is that they really enjoy the total holiday experience that Trysil is able to offer. That great feeling of excitement when exploring the mountain for the first time. Fantastic skiing conditions for all ages and levels of ability.
Eating lunch at one of the many restaurants, bars and cafes scattered around the slopes. Discovering
the perfect piste to suit your ability, while your kids are having a
whale of a time in the Troll Club, learning something new every day. Pushing your skiing to the limit and then taking that last run down
with glowing cheeks and that great sense of achievement. Only one word comes to mind - WOW!
But a great days skiing doesn't stop when the lifts close down - for some that's when it starts - and you've got to go a long way to beat the apre's-ski in Trysil! Fun pubs, bars, live music, good entertainment, excellent restaurants, traditional café's, bowling, cinema - Trysil has it all! Or perhaps you'd rather sit in front of a cosy log fire in your cabin or apartment with family and friends and have a pizza delivered to your door - the choice is yours.
Take your family and explore the amenities on Trysilsjellet or
try your skis out for the first time on one of the mountains three areas specially designed for children and beginners. In Trysil we believe in getting pleasure and enjoyment out of skiing, and this applies as much to novices as it does to the more experienced skiers. With 25 lifts and 62 pistes, Trysil offers a broad range of exciting skiing opportunities guaranteed to challenge the majority of skiers.
You have 75km of downhill slopes at your disposal. you can ski forest trails, off piste, mougal fields and well-prepared pistes for as long as your legs can withstand the pace. Have fun on a snowboard in the challenging Trysilfjellet Terrain Park or have a go at Telemark skiing, the traditional Norwegian skiing technique that's taking Europe by storm. Impressive? - then how about 93km of prepared cross-country ski tracks that lace the mountain plateau, some of them even floodlit for
nighttime training!
Trysil is a snow hole and is noted for its stable climate, which ensures good skiing conditions throughout the winter. It also means that the season starts early in Trysil. With 205 snow cannons providing snow on 6 long pistes, a
children's area and the Terrain Park. This is your skiing guarantee! Trysil offers an excellent bus service operating from early morning until late night all covered on your lift pass.
